Doyles Room Review

Despite only launching in 2004, Doyles Room has had a very active existence. When the UIGEA was passed two years later, the poker room took a big hit and was forced to jump networks to Microgaming in order to continue accepting US players.

Its efforts were in vain though as two years later Micrograming pulled out of the United States and Doyles Room was forced to jump ship yet again – this time landing up on the Cake Poker network which has turned out to be hugely beneficial for both parties.

Its dedicated commitment to US players has been rewarded though as Doyles Room has grown hugely over the last five years. Today, it’s attractive welcome bonus, huge $50k bounty tournament and large number of games is coupled with the unique appeal of being able to play with Doyle Brunson (and a number of his celebrity friends).

Doyles Room Bonus

All new members who are signing up to Doyles Room can take advantage a fantastic 110% match bonus worth up to $550. In order to ensure you receive this bonus, all players will need to deposit at least $30 and use the Doyles Room bonus code BESTDOYLES.

The bonus will then be automatically added to your account. To access it you will need to accumulate 166 Frequent Player Points (FPP’s) for every $10. 7 FPPs will be awarded for every $1 you spend in tournament fees and every $1 you rake at the tables.

In addition to a very attractive welcome bonus, players will also receive a full shot at the weekly $50k Doyles Bounty tournament. Entry usually costs $27.50, but whether you win or lose, you’ll be refunded your buy in once the tournament is over.

Doyles Room Games

Doyles Room offers players a good selection of poker games to get involved in. Along with Texas Holdem players are also offered Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7 Card Stud and Stud Hi-Lo are also available. All games have a wide range of stakes starting at $0.02/$0.04 and going all the way up to $500/$1,000.

Doyles Room Tournaments

Doyles Room has made a name for itself due to its flagship $50k Bounty Tournament which runs every Wednesday. The Texas Dolly himself regularly plays along with a couple of his friends – most notably Mike “The Mad Genius” Caro and Todd Brunson.

Each of these celebrity players have a $1,000 bounty placed on their heads, although if players manage to take out two of them they’ll be given $10,000. Take out all three and a huge $50,000 will be given as a reward.

Aside from that, Doyles Room has worked hard to extend its other tournament offerings. Today there is a wide range of guaranteed tournaments which suit all bankrolls. The largest tournaments run over the weekend and include a $125k Guaranteed every Sunday and a huge $250k GTD which runs on a monthly basis.

There aren’t a huge number of freeroll tournaments and those that do run don’t usually have direct prize pools – instead they offer tickets to the larger Guaranteed tournaments such as the Sunday Grand.
